Then...and Now!

Even with a global pandemic, the love of great coffee and friendly, hometown service remains strong in Honomu!  Closed since March of 2020, we tried reopening the shop when inter-island travel bans were lifted last summer, but it was a short lived venture as quarantine quickly returned and we had to shut our doors once more.  

Now as bans have lifted into tiers and visitors are returning to Hawai'i Island, we have re-opened for beverage and dessert service with enforced safety practices in place. 

We will no longer be making food and will focus instead on doing what we do best...providing locally grown and produced coffee, cacao, chocolate and vanilla products along with our signature Shark's Shakes and Smoothies featuring locally-made Tropical Dreams homemade ice cream.

We spotlight locally grown and produced products both in the shop and through our online store.  Information on farm tours, coffee and cacao and other resources and interpretive materials are on display in the shop as well.
